introduction
If you want to switch to a shorter rope length because yours is too long, here's a quick guide. The process is really easy and can be done in less than 5 minutes with the right tools. This step-by-step guide is helpful not only if you realize your rope is too long right after ordering, but also if your technique improves over time and you're comfortable using a shorter rope.
Important
It should be said in advance that it is better to proceed cautiously when shortening and to repeat the process to achieve the perfect rope length, rather than cutting off too much rope.
You should follow these steps:
1) To shorten it, you only need a small Allen key (1.5mm) and sturdy scissors, such as side cutters, cable cutters or pointed pliers.

2) As a first step, you need to place the Allen key and one end of a rope in front of you.

3) You need to insert the Allen key into the screw and unscrew the two screws. You only need to do this on one end of the rope.

4) This is what the loosened screws should look like:

5) Once the screws are loosened, the head can easily be pulled off the rope.

6) Now you can shorten the rope to the desired length. Please be careful not to cut off too much. It makes more sense to repeat this process a few times to get the right length than to cut off too much rope.

7) This is what the rope looks like with a piece cut off.

8) Finally, you need to reattach the head to the rope. Please make sure that you have pushed the rope all the way in and that the screws are tightened securely.
