From goalkeeper to jump rope athlete
"I used to be a handball goalkeeper – my coach always gave me a rope to warm up with. I enjoyed that even back then. At some point, the algorithm showed me the rope-skipping type again – and I just started."
What started as ten minutes quickly turned into more. "Once I get into the flow, time flies. I grab my rope, go out – quick and dirty. And in the end, I'm happy I did it."

"I jump in all weather – even when it's raining. For me, it's like meditation. No excuses, no studio, no hassle."
Daniel trains exclusively in freestyle mode. "I simply jump by feel – with music, beats in my ears and full of energy. I love skipping rope. It's fast, intense and can be done anywhere."

From muscle soreness to mindset shift
"At first I had sore muscles in my legs. But I kept going. Today it's routine – and my mind becomes just as clear as my body becomes strong."
For Daniel, skipping rope is more than just a sport – it's a way to unwind and a form of meditation in motion. "I'm an executive in the banking sector – lots of mental work, lots of meetings. Skipping rope helps me relax and makes me more alert."
